Applicants and parents alike have been asking for glimpses into our advising process for a while now, and we’re finally lifting the curtain. Yes! Above you’ll find a sample of the kinds of reviews, which we call assessments, we offer at College Essay Advisors. In this example, one of our expert Advisors marked up a draft with small in-line revisions, left comments regarding structure, content, and flow, and provided a feedback summary note with a recommendation to proceed with a custom package. From there, the applicant can work one-on-one with an Advisor from our team to improve their draft. The feedback we provide depends on each individual student’s needs as well as their timeline (is their deadline in two months, two weeks, or two days?). In 95% of cases, we provide detailed comments to point out what’s working in the draft and what could be improved upon or reimagined.
